Isaiah 7:14 announces, “Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.”

Dear Friends and Fellow Laborers in Christ,

The name Immanuel means “God with us.” What an incredible thought that is overlooked by the world and often taken for granted by the professing Church, but to those who have truly been born into God’s kingdom, it is the message of peace and goodwill to all men. Romans 5:1 says, “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Now we are to take the good news of the Gospel to wherever the Lord leads.

Bev and I pray that this Christmas and always, the joy of Christ in you, the hope of glory, would truly be your strength, and that you would have a contagious faith. Praise the Lord! We are so thankful as we have asked our Father for open doors and that He would lead us to hungry hearts. He has been faithful to answer our prayers. If you would want us to come to your area for meetings or even a concert, please contact us.

We ask you to pray for us and the various ministries we are involved in. Namely:

  1. The prison ministry-Prisoners are inviting other prisoners to meetings. Praise the Lord!
  2. The youth ministry-We are privileged to be teaching hungry, sensitive souls.
  3. The home church/Bible study ministry
  4. The work in Maryland-We go down Dec. 9-11 to continue teaching and prayer.
  5. The proposed trip to Africa to minister- tentatively set for October 2007

Here is a brief year-end update on our family:

Our oldest son, Jesse, is in Iraq, and has been promoted to Sergeant. He is enjoying learning more in depth about the Kiowa helicopters he works on. Please pray for him and his wife Heather in their time of separation and as she finishes college.

Ben and Angela are looking forward to the birth of their son Wyatt this February. We’re going to be grandparents! Yeah!

Seth is doing a great job at auto body in the Philadelphia area. Melody has transferred to Mansfield University, and begins classes in January. It’s great to have her home! Luke is a senior, and is on the Mansfield Varsity Basketball team. He looks forward to graduating and pursuing a career in either homeland security or crime investigation.

Blessings on you and your family now and always. Merry Christmas everyone!
