“If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.  Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.” Col 3:1,2

Hand to the Plow Ministries is a missionary outreach founded in 1984, called to prepare the church for revival, and to exhort her to return to her first love, the Lord Jesus Christ.  It is a faith ministry, existing by the will of God and His providential care through other believers who also see the need for a true God sent revival.

“Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap  in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rains righteousness on you.”  Hosea 10:12

We have four main goals.  They are: (1) That man would humble his pride under the mighty hand of God when confronted with truth by expository preaching of God’s Word in the power and anointing of His Holy Spirit. (2)  That true Biblical salvation would be preached so as to produce true converts to Christ and cease sowing tares. (3)  That Biblical holiness would be held up as the norm for all true believers and not just for the few. (4)  Finally and most definitely, that Jesus Christ alone receive all honor and glory.

What we believe concerning revival:

1. The main purpose of the Church is to glorify the Lord God Almighty  (I Cor. 10:31)  by being filled with the Holy Spirit. (2 Col. 1:9-11)
2. Evidences of being filled are: powerful prayer lives (Jude 20), a burden for lost souls (Luke 19:10), and power for holy living among God’s people (Rom. 12:1-3).  Therefore, if this state is not the norm, we must conclude that a state of backsliding and lukewarmness has entered in and this state is certainly contrary to the will of God.
3. God’s will is for Him to be glorified in the earth by the Church, which is composed of individuals who are filled and motivated by the Holy Spirit as opposed to emotion   (I Thess. 5:8).
4. Christ is returning for a Bride without spot or wrinkle, and by God’s grace that is exactly what He will have.  The Father’s will is for the Church to be revived.
5. The message of this ministry is to call upon everyone to repent and to put away all known sin; that deliverance comes through identification with Christ in His death;  the definite receiving of the Holy Spirit as an absolute necessity for all in the service of God (John 15:5).
